2024 Summer Academy

The CROSS Check Method is a template to guide educators through developing an intentional, indicator-aligned instructional series. Informed by a specific grade-level indicator and overarching text-dependent question, educators can use this template to thoughtfully consider rigor, types of questioning, learning objectives, success criteria, assessment opportunities, a sequence of mini-lessons, considerations for students of special populations, and necessary resources, including potential planning and/or instructional partners.
