Preschool and elementary special education teachers will learn the principles of the Social Thinking curriculum. ID Moderate teachers will be provided an overview of the Unique Learning Systems products. Learning targets consist of topics covering monthly curriculum items using Unique, visual supports using Symbol Stix, and current news articles using News 2 You.
Participants will learn alternatives to suspension and re-entry tools for students exhibiting difficult behaviors and repeat offenses in the school setting.

Participants will be provided with an overview on the use of task boxes in ID Moderate specialized classrooms. They will have time to ask questions and get feedback on the tasks analysis sheets for each task box.
School administrators who work with students protected by IDEA and Section 504 will learn when to conduct a manifestation determination review, how to conduct a manifestation determination review, and the steps following a manifestation determination review.
Teachers will learn about different data collection examples and when to use them. Teachers will walk away with data collection templates ready to use.

Participants will learn how to utlize FBA data/results to create a meaningful and thorough behavior intervention plan (BIP) for students. Resources and supports will be discussed and shared regarding both common and unique BIP interventions and accommodations.
