This PD session will focus on effective collaborative teaching practices in a US History classroom for multi-language learners as well as students with disabilities. While the focus is US History content, the application can be applied to different content courses.

Participants will write freely as students before learning how to impact their own classroom communities. I will provide examples of student writing and share the details of what makes it an impactful and effective use of precious class time.
